Entering the EDI Space

Are you coming to learn or are you coming to resistant fight?

Those are two entry points that I have found during this work of equity, diversity and inclusion on the perspectives of people who enter the space of EDI learnings or conversations or organizational change.

First perspective 

Folks who want to be a part of change, who recognize that there is work to do and that oppressions and in justices exist and that they are a part of those inequalities and systemic ways of oppressing people and want to make a change and want to learn how to change.

Second perspective 

The other perspective that I found that enters this space is folks who want to fight, who want to resist, who want to challenge because they do not believe that exists.

My job is not to convince you that EDI matters.I want to work with you.If you actually want to make change and be a part of the solution.


Take action

Examine what privileges you have and how you use them for good (to push for change)
