Happy Social Worker Week!

It is the second week of March and it is highlighting social workers. I wanted to give a special shout out to all my fellow social workers out there.

Social work is such an amazing profession.

I didn't know what social work was until I moved to Canada and was in the university.

Somebody told me about social work, which then started my journey into social work and I learned so so many things about what social workers can do and where they can help people.

It's such as child welfare, such as working in hospitals, in schools, supporting people who have experience intimate partner, violence, supporting those or who are struggling with addictions or who are new immigrants.

All sorts of different places and spaces where we can help.
