For all the biracial Children

Parenting a biracial child has been really interesting and has been one of the greatest privileges and gifts that I have had in my life to be the parent of my now 17 year old son.

As the only Indian in his family of four mothers, my partner and I my ex wife and I, the three of them are all white and the only brown one.

I was really important to help help raise him with parts of his Indian culture and his heritage because we are surrounded by whiteness. And so, and I recognize for him that he has to navigate two worlds and find his place.

For all the biracial Children who navigate to different or many different worlds, I see you and I love you.
