Homelessness and winter

Homelessness is something I've been thinking about a lot as we have been having these fierce winter storms here in southern Ontario.

I often think about the folks who are living in the encampment and how how are they keeping warm and keeping safe.

I also think about why it is we have a problem of homelessness and countries such as Canada, where, you know, we talk about police budgets being increased by millions of dollars and then at the same time, talk about housing people, near a garbage dump.

So let's think about our priorities and how we take care of one another and, how we can actually make meaningful change when we think about housing a roof over your head, a basic need.
